​Today we explored:
- Salutary Neglect in the colonies and the impact it had on the relationship between the British colonies and the British government, especially once the monarchy began to take a greater interest in the colonies. 
​- Mercantilism " chiefly (historical) economic theory that trade generateswealth and is stimulated by the accumulation of profitable balances, which a government should encourage by means of protectionism."  HOW IT ALL FITS TOGETHER DIAGRAM (click here)
​- Control: What does it look like for the British government to try to control the resources produced in the colonies?  Navigation Acts, Vice Admiralty Courts, Etc.
